Good: I got a boat and decided to move to the islands so I could be closer to a marina. It's frightening to make the move from Seattle. Shopping for homes was equally frightening since I didn't know which home inspector to rely on to perform a thorough home inspection so I wouldn't get stuck with a nightmare home. I called a few home inspectors and found Rick to be the most informative during our initial conversation. Let me tell you, this is the guy you want inspecting a house as he didn't miss a beat.. Improvements: I wish there was some better way to differentiate home inspectors. One of the guys I spoke to did not appear to be knowledgeable and only boasted about his being certified by some association in addition to his license. You really have to listen closely and choose the right person. It certainly wasn't an apples to apples comparison. One of the guys turned me off right away when he said he is cheaper than the rest of his competitors and will beat any price. I told him I preferred quality - not bargains.. Other: There are too many negative comments on the internet. I've decided to make time to give Rick Bunzel this well-deserved praise for his outstanding service in helping me to know the various conditions of my future home. I have already renegotiated a couple of significant items and it appears it will be my home to enjoy. Rick you made this a pleasureable and stress-free experience during this important home buying phase. Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you again!!!.
