Having just moved to Washington, I feel so lucky to have found a great hairdresser on my first attempt. I've gone years in the past before finding someone I trust in a new place. I knew I wanted subtle highlights and a decent cut, but I've never been very good at telling someone just how I want my hair, and often end up disappointed. Dennice did a great job, and I loved both the highlights and the cut! I'll definitely be going back to her. Christine gave me a great manicure, and of all the manicures I've had done and the many places I've tried, her hand massage was the best. She also took great care with my nails and gave me tips on how to make the manicure last through a dinner party I was going to later in the week. I'm looking forward to my next visit! Parking is free down below in the University Bookstore parking garage. Look for the stairs leading up to the opposite side of the garage from where the bookstore is, and you'll emerge right next door to the salon. Very convenient! Pros: I got exactly what I wanted for both hair and nails. Cons: On the pricey side ($154 for manicure, cut, and partial highlights on shoulder length hair before tip,) hair-washing sink less comfortable than some.
