Due to a second-floor water leak, we experienced extensive house damage that resulted in us losing our entire kitchen (floors, cabinets, etc.). On top of this, we had finally been picked for an adoption which added a significant time crunch. My wife and I did our research and interviewed several companies. RJK towered over everyone else with whom we spoke. We loved that they were a soup-to-nuts company -- that they coordinated everything - the plumbing, electrical, tile work, painting, etc. Furthermore, they had an excellent balance of design and engineering. Our initial impressions of the company were correct, but insufficient as to how wonderful they were. Instead of coming in with their own ideas of how our new kitchen should look, they listened to us, talked to us about how we used the kitchen (e.g. my wife loves to bake), and worked with us to design something that we would love. One thing that really stood out is that they have middle-class sensibilities. They were always on time - and when they were stuck in traffic, they called to let us know they were late. They cleaned up after themselves every single day. They did the common sense things that are often not that common sense. As a woodworker, I am picky about how things are done when it comes to cabinetry and trim-work. I was incredibly impressed with their craftsmen and craftsmanship. RJK was ultimately focused on making sure we were satisfied. They communicated well. They pricing was highly reasonable. They masterfully coordinated all the moving parts so it all worked smoothly. They were nothing short of wonderful to work with. We will definitely use them again in the future. I feel incredibly lucky to have found them.
