Businiess name:  The Animal Hospital on Mt Lookout Square

Review content:
This hospital is the best I've been to, they are very patient and thorough with their examinations. I've been to two other hospitals (All Creatures Animal Hospital & Eastgate Animal Hospital) All Creatures rushed and were very rough on our dog, which made her scared to go to any veterinarian afterward. Eastgate was the hospital we took our dog to when she was young, and we did enjoy their services until she developed lumps. First they diagnosed a few lumps as cysts. Later she developed other lumps that we did not know about. We were frightened that they might be cancerous. They examined her and did not know what the lumps were exactly (it was a hard lump on her side) they recommended to perform surgery the next day to do a biopsy to get rid of the lump. I did research on lumps because I was worried about my dogs health and read about needle aspiration. I asked our veterinarian at Eastgate about doing the needle aspiration and she said that they would not find anything and it would be pointless to do one. They did not charge me for the visit(since I was there not long ago and they were kind) and prescribed me antibiotics in case the lumps were just an infection and recommended I do surgery the next day. I wanted a second opinion because I did not want our dog to go through surgery and went to Mt Lookout. At Mt Lookout they took their time to examine my dog. They did a needle aspiration and found puss, then shaved her hair to get a closer look at the lumps. They then did another aspiration and sent it for a biopsy. I felt that they did all they could to examine my dog, which set our mind at ease since we discovered it was not cancer and it was just a sterile abscess. The time and care they provide is second to none and I highly recommend going to this hospital.
