"I had to write this letter to tell you how absolutely delighted and excited we are with the hardwood floors you put in our home last week.
As you know this past winter our recently purchased home was flooded, and the hardwood floors that were there buckled and then popped up as if an earthquake hit us. It was a devastating situation, mentally and financially for us. We knew that what was left of the hardwood floors could not be salvaged, they were way too far gone. Everything had to be replaced!
Then through a friend of mine I was introduced to you. From the beginning your integrity was above reproach. You gave us a bid to redo the floors that we could live with - you were both fair and honest. The result of your efforts was completed last Friday. Surely the most magnificent wooded floors I've seen in my lifetime. Please feel free to have any of your potential clients call me so I might tell them how truly wonderful a craftsman you are - and what a lovely human being as well."
