Taking advantage of the rising popularity of bubble tea drinks in Boston, Infusion Tea Spa opened about two years ago down the street from the 88 Supermarket Food Connection, where a Lollicup Tea Franchise has been open for some time. They tried to capitalize with grand opening promotions but I haven't noticed a popularity comparable to that of Lollicup. In fact, I'm surprised that this shop is still open. The cafe is quaint, with a dimmed light atmosphere, and serves a handful of snacks to go along with its selections of bubble tea drinks. As for the bubble tea itself, it wasn't what I expected, in a bad way.
