Businiess name:  Garden Cinemas
Review by:  Scott G.
Review content:
Located amidst a slow to revitalize section of Norwalk and with a somewhat dingy exterior, Garden Cinemas is easy to overlook. (It is also easy to miss as it is set behind some store fronts and across a parking lot). But what it lacks in sizzle it makes up for in substance. It is one of the few high-brow cinemas in Fairfield County with a four screens dedicated to indie, foreign and documentary flicks. While crowds vary depending on the film, most weeknights are quiet, but weekends tends to draw a packed house of Fairfield's self-proclaimed (and graying) intelligentsia. The theater could use an interior renovation as well, but its clean and comfortable enough to enjoy any quality film. Too bad there aren't more post-theater opportunities in walking distance.
