We love to eat at La Madeleine. I have had something different every single time, which is not like me at all. I have never had anything that I have been disappointed in. It can get pricey. We usually spend about $20 for breakfast, but it is worth it for the atmosphere and the food. It has become somewhat of a tradition to go here when we have out of town guests. They always love it. Pros: food, plenty of parking, many choices Cons: can be pricey, crowded at times more

Enjoyable breakfasts 11/26/2002

On a lazy Saturday morning, there's not much better than La Madeleine. Drink some good coffee, have some eggs, potatoes, or soup, and sit back to read the paper for an hour or two. Really a great relaxing start to any weekend. Pros: atmosphere, reasonably priced, good breakfasts more

Lunch only.... 10/14/2002

Great place for lunch with friends or co-workers. Service line and wait staff are fairly fast during peak times. The food is great, breads are just out-of-this-world good. At 6 to 8 dollars, it's a good value for lunch. The atmosphere is good and allows for easy conversations. I wouldn't think this place to be a big dinner draw, but give it two thumbs up for lunch. Nice place for lunch with friends or coworkers. Cozy, good sandwiches, nice feel. Just not what I feel is real dining. more
