I went here upon the recommendation of a friend and I absolutely love it! I can't speak for all the hairdressers, but Sandra does an absolutely fantastic job at a very reasonable price. I have had several different styles cut by her and they all looked great, but my current haircut is my favorite so far and it was entirely her recommendation. I was nervous too, since it is pretty short now, but she did a great job explaining just how it would look before I made the big chop, and telling me exactly what she was doing when she was cutting it all off. The place has a funky, friendly vibe, I never feel pressured by the staff into buying all the products. Highly recommended iSalon. Pros: Friendly vibe, big screen TV, Reasonable price Cons: cannot think of anything more

I absolutely love everything about iSalon! Every staff member is beyond friendly, and you feel immediately at ease when you get there. The look and feel of the salon is quirky and comfortable, and the service is exceptional. I've been getting my hair cut and highlighted by Sanra Yanez for about 10 months now, and she is a big reason why I continue to return. She has great hair (which is always a good sign in a stylist), she's friendly and amazingly knowledgeable about getting and keeping your hair as healthy as possible. She works with you to identify what color and cut is best for your face shape and skin tone, and I couldn't be happier with my results. Their product line is great too - they have a smoothing serum that I swear by, and their deep conditioners are well worth the investment. after reading all positive reviews here, I made an appointment with Desi. When she saw my long straight hair, she told me honestly and nicely that Brenda would be the better stylist to cut my hair than herself. She was right. Brenda is absolutely a professional, no-nonsense, genuinely friendly person. She gave me the exact shoulder length layered haircut I asked for and made it even look cuter. I also like the overall spacious salon vibe including the receptionist who is very welcoming. I'm returning for sure to iSalon. Pros: Free drinks, pretty stylist more

Best Salon in the Bay Area! 11/25/2009

Found this salon through my lovely sister, I have seen Brenda twice now for a cut, color and highlights and will be returning. The atmosphere of this salon is perfect - modern, sophisticated and clean. The staff is stylish and very welcoming on my first visit they sent me home with a list of Vietnamese restaurants to try out since I'm new to the area. The courtesy and professionalism can't be beat- greeted by name, offered a drink, and received a thank you note! My hair is fine and is recovering from a bad-layered cut. Brenda spent some real time listening to what I liked and didn't like about my current cut and style and started me down a path to a much prettier look. The color products they use are AMAZING.
