"WholeSelf Wellness helps clients regain a happy and healthy relationship with food by teaching them to re-write their food story. We focus on how you feel about how and why you eat, rather than on the what you eat. This approach releases our clients from the guilt they feel over eating the foods they enjoy, the shame they feel about their weight, and the blame they lay on themselves for lack of “willpower.”
Our Personal Training approach is part humor, fun, and detailed attention to form. Our focus is on helping who would otherwise not be exercising due to lack of comfort with going to a gym or fear of injury. It might be an old sports injury or as complicated as an ongoing injury such as a bad lower back or disease such as diabetes. There is no judgement over weight as all bodies can and should move pain free and with enjoyment.
Our approach to cooking and eating is to put pleasure and creativity center stage along with the fundamental cooking skills necessary to cook healthy, tasty and quick meals. Cooking shouldn't feel like a science experiment and eating shouldn't be a stressful experience. Finding the fun and joy in cooking combined with mindful eating leads to greater enjoyment of any and all foods you eat."
