I can't say enough about this place. I have never taken the time out of my day to rate a restaurant unless it was bad, I had to make an exception for Desaki. My family and I had a blast, and after trying their sushi we couldn't help but order 5 rolls total. more

I am a food critic at heart, and I can confidentially say that the negative reviews associated with Desaki are misleading and unjust. You really have to experience this place for yourself, YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED! The hibachi and sushi are of the highest quality, proportions are very generous, and their hibachi chefs are masterful and put on an excellent show. I can't say enough about this place, thank you thank you thank you! more

I frequently eat out. Always looking for a new place I can bring my repeat business to. I never had such a bad experience at a resturaunt before in my life!! Just moved to Pa and kept hearing Shiro's all over the radio. Decided to go there with some friends. Unfortunately we all didn't make it there at the same time. So we decided we would have some drinks before the rest of us arrived. It was a Saturday night so they had the club side playing music and it seemed like fun. Well not even did we get to the bar when the "OWNER" so he says, comes over and informs us we are not permitted in the bar! Upon asking why he said because he is the owner and he is telling us that if we want to eat we can't sit at the bar and have drinks. I was completely offended. He went on to say we would have to stand and wait for our entire party in the doorway. If you are a business owner I would think you would want money either way; and believe me my friends and I can run up a very nice bar tab. I just couldn't believe how unprofessional his whole demeanor was. Anyway will not be going back there EVER again!!! more

We have always wanted to experience the thrill of having our food cooked in front of us with fire bursting into the air. There is a wide variety of food, but some of the item suggestions by the cook are not included in the menu price. We did note that there is an 18% gratuity added to the bill no matter how many people are in the party. We were prepared for that. We were not prepared to pay extra, per person for noodles, and for each beverage (not bar) refill. For a family of four, including two young children, our bill was $111. Crazy. Pros: Entertaining, good food Cons: fountain drink refill charges, Overpriced! more
