I have two barn cats and two dogs. One that has to take meds everyday for seizures. When he had his 1st seizure I was horrified. But Dr. Thompson and her staff quickly took care of him and me. We took my furry baby that we found at dumpsters to Countryside Veterinary Clinic . Of course Miss Priss had heart worms :( Dr. Thompson is wonderful and the staff is great. They kept Miss Priss from Monday to Friday to make sure she was doing O.K. with treatment. We got reports everyday. If I called to check on her the staff and Dr. Thompson was Very Nice . On Friday Dr. Thompson called me in case she was busy when I went to pick up Miss Priss and went over everything :) She covered everything and I am Very Blessed we found such a Great person not Only vet to take care of our Miss Priss <3 more

Dr. Thompson is very caring with our dogs!! I also love that when I take my dogs for their appointments I can have them groomed!!! The groomer, Mary is very good at her job. She's caring and makes sure our babies are groomed just like we ask. She's also knowledgeable about the health of animals, so if I take my dog in for just a groom she will make sure he's doing well health wise also. Just love this place!! Our dogs are our babies and we only choose the best for them. Countryside Veterinary Clinic is that place. Thank you Dr. Thompson, Mrs. Mary, and other staff of this clinic for taking such good care of our babies!! more

Y. es she does have after hour service. In 2006 my boxer was sick on Sunday pm I. Called she met me at office an done a great service. Now he has torn legs.in. left. Knee taking him back to her. Alton hooks more

Bad: I cannot recommend this vet for she does NOT have after hour emergency treatment. But she and her staff say that she is available and this is very misleading. We have a dog that got very ill over thanksgiving weekend and we left her 4 messages and she never called back. On Monday when her office did opened, she still did not follow up with us. So we took our dog to another vet and he helped us. My dog has lymphoma and in great pain and she was not there to support us at all.. Improvements: If you are ok with no emergency service then she is technically a good vet and has helped our other animals quite a bit. But only if they get ill during office hours. Her staff is kind and caring when they are available. I did lodge a complaint with Amber and still Dr. Thompson never called us back. Shame on her... If she had even called us to say that she could not care for our dog for she was away for the holiday I could respect that, but she did not even bother to do that.. Other: Please know we pay all of our pet bills at the time of every visit and are very conscientious about taking care of our animals. As I said to Amber, as she is sleeping at night and going off for the weekend to have a nice thanksgiving, she is leaving some of her patients in pain and broken hearted... She does suggest on her answering machine to go to the Macon animal hospital for an emergency if she is not around. But what kind of option is that for us that live 1.5 hours away it is very expensive.... more

This is an awesome Clinic!!! They is very down to earth and very caring. She seems to be about the animals and not all about the $$ like most are. Thank you Dr. Thompson more

i can not stop singing the praises of dr donna. she is so nice and down to earth, and willing to take the time to sit and talk. she and her staff are so helpful and kind. they call and give up dates and even call after your pet goes home! they have the time to talk 1 on 1 and will take as much time as you need. they also offer pet grooming and pet food! 5 stars! more
