Best

Fabulous experience and great hair cut. Joshua was so patient, skilled and a great listener. I felt like I saw my therapist but felt great after.

Worst

unimpressed by haircut and service..but they will let you come back and have it corrected if you are unsatisfied. Pros: free beer/wine Cons: everything else

I had been looking for my stylist, Lele, who moved from another salon in the area and was glad to find her at BOB. The salon is really cute and fun and I had a great time. Lele seemed very happy here. I can't wait to return! Pros: space, cuts more

Great! 4/3/2006

Bob is hands-down the hottest spot to get your hair cut in Athens. Although it's frequently very busy and hard to get an appointment at times, the little touches make all the difference--they sometimes have cookies or cheese and crackers in the waiting room and everytime I've been there, they've had really good wine. In addition to this, they have great stylists and a really fun atmosphere. Everyone here enjoys what they do and it shows. Even though I see a senior stylist, they now have junior stylists--one of which my friend went to and loved her cut--at a discounted rate. more

Funky, cute place 1/12/2006

Bob Salon is really the best place in Athens. I've searched for a stylist for years now and finally found Lyric at Bob. She's awesome with color and cut. I felt so pampered while I was there and my hair looks amazing. Thanks for all you do, Lyric! Pros: Stylists, Atmosphere, Friendliness more

Positively wonderful 10/26/2005

I had the absolute best experience at Bob Salon! The staff, other clients, and general atmosphere were so warm and fun. I had a beer and talked for a long time with the lady getting her hair done next to me--who has been seeing one of the stylists for years and has followed her stylist to other salons. She said her favorite place is Bob. I just loved everything about my experience. I will definitely return and recommend this salon. And my hair looks awesome. Very Pleased! 10/5/2005

I was very happy with my first visit to Bob Salon. After I read that they won the Athens Banner Herald's choice awards, I thought I should try them out. I was definitely not dissapointed--the decor was fun, quirky and impressive and the staff was very friendly. They were extremely busy when I was there for my 2 pm appointment, however, I never felt rushed and instead felt pampered with my glass of wine and my view of the trees. Salon Snob 8/8/2005

I live in Atlanta and frequent the best salons. I came to Athens to visit my daughter and she suggested we get hair cuts. I immediately thought that this experience, though quality time with my daughter, would be awful. What could Athens possibly have that Atlanta does not? I was surprised. Bob has a funky, urban, and yet southern/ comfortable feel. The stylists at bob seem very ecclectic--from tattoos to preppy. I saw the stylist with the tattoos and was a bit nervous she might give me a crazy haircut. But I was pleasantly surprised that she listened to exactly what I wanted. It's been a few weeks since my cut and it's growing out into an even better style than the original. I would definitely go back to Bob. I might even make a trip to Athens specifically to get my hair cut (and not call my daughter! ) more

I've been to this salon a few times in the past year or so and have had a new stylist each time. My hair has never looked better! These people are so talented and I've been happy with each of my cuts. I also love their product line they said they got from London. This is really the best place in Athens (and maybe even Atlanta.) Cute place in Athens 2/4/2005

I didn't expect to find such a great hair place in Athens, GA, as I have just moved to the area from Atlanta. Bob is a very professional place with a great vibe. I'm glad I won't have to drive back to Atlanta to get my hair done. I left with a wonderful cut and color and am entirely happy with my overall experience at the salon. Nice 1/25/2005

This salon is in the most beautiful, old, loft-style building. I had my hair highlited with Lyric and she listened to exactly what I wanted. I'm now a ravishing red head. To top it off, I have very thick, curly hair and she gave me a cut that works wonders. My friend who came with me saw Nicole and loved her hair also. We'll both definitely be back. This place is awesome! Love the atmosphere--I relaxed on the back patio with a glass of wine while I waited for my stylist--love the music, love the people.
