Zucca Bar & Pizzeria

Zucca Pizzeria in Towne Lake has the best pizza in Atlanta. The service is great and the servers are personable and friendly. The bartenders that work at night (Seth and Nykki) are great and funny together. Piano night thursdys and saturdays from 8 till 11 is always fun with a different piano player every time. Mondays at 7:30pm they have Team Trivia. Tuesdays they play Sons of Anarchy on the bar tv with the sound. Dinner specials on the weekends and drink specials all week long. We are regulars and are there a few times a week and we always are greeted with loud ""HEY GUYS!!"" and our drinks brought right over. The bartenders will come say hi no matter where we sit at the bar or booth and chat us up. We always feel welcome and appreciated. If you want good food, great service and a terrific time defiantly go see our friends at Zucca Towne Lake!!! You will not be disappointed. more

I work in the restaurant industry so I am really picky. I was there the other Saturday and had a waitress who was great named Nikki. Cheerful and helpful she made mine and my friends experience great. The food was amazing and the restaurant had the best atmosphere. I can't wait for it to be warmer and seat outside on the patio. I recently went to Zucca for a small dinner party (8 people). We called ahead and were seated immediately when we arrived. Most of the party had pizza and they all loved it. I had a a chicken/caper/white wine sauce dish and it was as good as I've had at restaurants who charge twice as much. I've been back several times since then and never been disappointed. We have been there twice now and each time the crustof the pizza has been burnt and nothing was done for us by management. The server even said ""looks like they left it in the oven too long"" yet he still served it to us. Nothing done by management. Pros: NOTHING Cons: pizza more

I don't even like pizza, but this was great. They have lots of choices so you are bound to find something you like. The staff was very friendly, full of suggestions, and eager to make our experience a good one. This restaurant exhibits all the hospitality and charm that the South is famous for. It is conviently located right off the interstate and across from a gas station. Pros: Friendly, great pizza, lots of selection, comfortable seating, enthusiastic & helpful staff Cons: You might have to park in the rear if they are really crowded. They don't take reservations but do ""call ahead"" seating. more
