Happy dogs, happy owner. When I drop my dogs off for boarding, they are actually excited to go, which tells a lot about the care they're receiving. Helpful, friendly staff that really seems to care about each dog's needs. I hate having to board my dogs, but my dogs don't hate having to be boarded at Zeus' Place. more

Hi! I am Michelle Ingram and I own Zeus' Place. I would like to share a couple of things about Zeus' Place. We encourage socialization and play time for dogs who thrive on companionship. We find that exercise and play time decreases stress while in a kennel environment and make the dogs happier. Our staff asks clients, when they drop their pets off, if they like other dogs and would like them to play with others while outside. more

best boarding in town--paws down! 7/6/2009

As a dog owner that works in the animal welfare field, I have very high standards when looking for a place to care for my kids when I'm away. Zeus' Place is one of the few places in town where I feel comfortable leaving my pets. The staff is always friendly and knows my dogs and their personalities. The kennels are clean and well sanitized. The staff asks if you want your dogs put in with other dogs during playtime, or if you would prefer that they had solitary yardtime, and all the suites have free webcams. My dogs are always happy to arrive, look like they're having a good time on the webcams, and look great when I come to get them. I would highly recommend Zeus' Place to anyone looking for a facility to look after their furkids when they're not around! Pros: caring, animal oriented staff, webcams, discounts Cons: none more

Questionable service 7/2/2009

My dog just got picked up and he is noticable stressed and exhausted. I have a tough dog that likes to play with others, but you have no idea how long they are locked up with multiple others. In the past we have only seen our dog on webcam once when we repeatedly requested a "suite" with cam. You can watch cats up for adoption all day long, but good luck seeing your dog that you're paying for. I would love to know the most dogs they have had in there at once. Bottom line is if you dog isn't able to hold it's own with a variety of breeds, it could be like sending a cute eighteen year old to general population prison. Oh yeah, my dogs bed is gutted. I'm sure he had a restful time with friends. more

Nice people, bad haircut 6/2/2009

I have never boarded my dog here so I can't speak to that, but I did get my dog groomed at Zeus'. Pros: easy to get an appointment, nice people Cons: groomers don't listen more

Zeus' Place: Where your dog would ask you to take them. 12/19/2008

Hands down, best and most dog-oriented place I've found in and around New Orleans. I spent weeks researching before placing my dog anywhere I deemed acceptable. Pros: open 7 days. my dog loves it. great rates. good people Cons: book early for holidays mardi gras and jazzfest. they fill up. more

Great place to keep a dog! 10/10/2008

I take my dog there once a twice a week to have doggy day care and sometimes to stay over. I have a great dane and everyone there knows him! They know their regulars and I love that about them. When I used to take my second dog there they slept in the same suite - that was so cute. I know the owner there and she has even offered to write me a professional refernce on my great dane. I love it there and I know you will too!!!! more

Not too shabby, not too chic 7/9/2008

Zeus' Place was recommended to me by several people who have kept their dogs there, and my dog went there when my normal dog care company/family (Deb's Dog Care, LLC), was unavailable. While I was a little disappointed in the overall cleanliness and organization of the place at first glance, my dog didn't seem to mind and immediately went into full play mode (he seemed to like it, before, during and after his stay). Pros: Cost, service, overall happiness of my dog. Cons: Available space (overcrowded), cleanliness (not easy with a bunch of dogs) more

Misrepresented - Animal Shelter Conditions 3/15/2008

Gambit Weekly calls this dog boarding facility the best. As someone who pampers their pet, I can't say I agree. The dogs are kept two to a shelter-style concrete kennel (for company, they say, which would be much more believable if every crate wasn't full, and stacked on top of one another, even in the broom closet), cleaning supplies are sloppily stacked, the place just seems dirty, and the only dogs outside in the yard belonged to one of the employees while another worker sat outside on her cell phone. My friend boarded her dog there and her puppy was exposed to bordatella there. It's the cheapest place in town, but definitely not the best by far. Pros: Cheap, cheap, cheap Cons: Nasty conditions, unconcerned staff, overcrowded more
