I searched online for a sushi restaurant in Grand Junction, CO., and found Zen Garden. As I pulled into the parking lot I was a little sceptical because the outside of the building was not very impressive. My first impression was wrong. Inside was neat and up to date and I was greated by friendly staff. I orderd the Salmon roll and fried won tons. On a scale from 1-10 the sushi was a 9, the wontons an 8. The food came out quickly and the waitress kept my drink glass full. And to top it off the price was very reasonable. I paid 10.80. I will go back. \r
I have been back to Zen Garden and always get great food but not service. The young woman who works as the hostess/cashier/waitress is rude and cannot get take out orders correct. I have talked to many other people who say they do not go back to Zen Garden because of her. She is sarcastic, and gets in peoples personal space, even tries to go and pick up babies with out even asking.
