It is my impression that this used to be a good place to go to when the father ran the business, but this has changed. When the son took over, the prices began to rise to the point where now, if you can believe it, their quotes often are higher than the dealer. \r \r I would suggest you go down the road to Jacks if you want a reliable mechanic at a fair price. more

I highly recommend Zandee's Auto Repair on Burton St. SE. Gordon Zandee started the business some 50 years ago and now his son Ed and crew continue the tradition of excellent service. They are compontent, fair, honest and trustworthy. They do what they say. I read the review of someone who was disappointed but I trust there was more to the story that what the reviewer reports. I recommend Zandee's to all of my friends and family. more

Steady and reliable 7/19/2007

I have gone to Zandees for 20 years, and have always had top quality service. From fixing broken down kids' cars to regular maintenance, they have done a great job. Nowadays, you don't even have to drive an Olds to get a smile from them. I have Saab, Toyota, Honda, Pontiac, Ford ... more

I've been dealing with Zandees for 25 years. They have always been knowledgeable, courteous, honest, and fair. I don't hesitate recommending them to anyone. more

A+ 1/25/2006

Our entire family uses Zandees because we know we can trust them. My dad was a mechanic at one time in his life and always used Zandees when he couldn't do it himself. He always spoke highly of Zandees. Even though I moved to the other side of town, I drive to zandees. PROS: honesty CONS: more

Good place to flush your money away 11/2/2005

I would never recommend Zandee's to anyone. Among other un satisfactory things, they put a completely rusty gas tank in my car, and then charged me 3 additional times when my car brok down because of this gas tank - but always blamed the problem on other things that "needed fixing". It took me threatening to call the Better Business Bureau before they were willing to refund some of my money. They did give me back a large amount - I'll give credit where credit is due - but the problem shouldn't have been there in the first place, and they definitely shouldn't have lied about it. Take your car elsewhere! more
