The same things that were repaired this week were the same things repaired at the shop 1 yr ago...so obviously something isn't getting fixed. -Major repairs and leaks that total 3k should be fixed right the first time. How did it get out on the lot with such a big leak? With the engine cleaned, the leak was masked. Also, the problem I came in for, the hissing AC, was not addressed-I was told it was a normal noise. If I wanted to drive around with a hissing respirator, I would buy one and run it while I drive. I'm told the noise is normal, but it continues to hiss after I shut off the car and I have to keep the radio up to drown out the noise. I'm pretty sure that's not normal. It doesn't matter now. I know the service center is unable to perform the repairs properly, so I have replaced the car. I have a different car, with an extended warranty, but I am questioning the value if I have to come to this service center for the repairs. So, in essence, my vehicle was "ready" when they said it was, but it wasn't READY. I was not satisfied with the service and I believe I should stick with my regular mechanic that has proven his intelligence and integrity after years of quality service. Awful service, awful repair job, awful Acadia. The sales staff was nice enough-but, nice doesn't quite get the job done right. I will find another dealership to do warranty repairs or get rid of my warranty and just go with someone I trust.
Edit-just took the "new" used car in for it's first oil change and to address the brake problem they PROMISED to fix before I took it home. I guess I shouldn't be surprised they never fixed the brake rotars as promised. I took it home and they were still warped, so I made sure to request that they get fixed, as promised, when I took it in. (I knew they'd try to pull something, so I told them I only wanted it done if it was going to be covered on good faith...guess they have no integrity) They took off the tires to "diagnose" the problem. they still owe me $1000.RUN
