A review of your health based on my Cardiac experience! 6/23/2007

My dear friends: I have been very ill for the last 3 months. It all started with swelling on the legs, eyes & upper cheek. The Internist started looking for problems with my kidneys since I am a diabetic Type 2 also. In the meantime I see that I cannot breath well, very tired, fatigued, could not walk frrom one part of the house to another without loosing my breath. Went to my Pneuomologist, since I had COPD, but was down great. The numbers were a little low, but with meds they corrected quite well. In the meantime I went to a Cardiologist and he ordered Nuclear Tests. The Stress Test was going to be induced since I could not walk. While inducing the heart to beat faster, I started to feel pain in my chest that eventually felt like I had an elephant's foot on my chest. I started crying and then I heard the words Ventricular Tachycardia and everyone was running around. Meds were injected and they kept telling me to cough. I tried as much as I could. Needless to say I was transferred in an ambulance to the cardiology Center and stuck with cables everywhere. People die from Ventricular Tachycardia. There are other Tachycardia's that can be dealt with better, but this one is the worst. A catheterism was performed the next day, but nothing showed up on the film. My Internal Medicine Doctor, who is the greatest, said then we look for a second opinion. We go to the father of Catheterism's. We went there and brought the film. As soon as the secretary saw it she told me that he did not use that. When the Dr. saw me he told me to use the film as paper weight that a new cath had to be done. His had fiber optics with cameras and the works. He explained that he would go in areas that the other one could not reach. Well on May 31st, we went to the hospital. He explained that if he found a lesion, I would stay overnight and then they would put a "Stent". The procedure started and almost right away he found it. An artery that supplies the blood to the heart muscle was 70% blocked. He placed the stent right there. I never felt anything. I had to be in bed for 24 hours and then they sent me home with strict instructions. The miracle was that I started feeling the difference. No more hoarse voice. I could talk and the fatigue was gone. No pressure or pain in my chest. I am 53 years old. Yes, I am a Diabetic and I smoked a lot in my life. Stopped 3 years ago. And 10 before that. I wanted to share my experience since I know there are many persons out there that feel many of the symptoms that I felt, and Ignore them. PLEASE, DO NOT IGNORE YOUR SYMPTOMS! Then If you have a stroke, your heart will be too weak. Go to a Cardiologist or your primary physician and ask them to do a Holster, Echocardiogram and Stress stress, preferably using Nuclear Medicine. You can contact also the American Heart Association http://www.americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=1200000 and they may be able to help you out if you do not have insurance. On time things can be cured. You are all very special and anything that you can do to preserve a good quality of life is worth it! Sending tons of Blessings, Health, Prosperity & Love! Big Hug!
