OK, so this was mine and my daughters favorite place to go for sushi. I love the staff I cannot say enough about the staff they are fantastic! Especially the lovely young lady bartenders. They are friendly and always attentive. They however, have taken my favorite sushi and changed it!!! I loved the old menu. It had great flavor it was extremely tasty, now they are trying to go all fancy. They increased the price of the sushi added all kinds of crap to it that I don't want and added a ton of sauces. I don't like it. It is too complicated and too many flavors going on at once. I want my old menu back. You can keep the new one for those who like over sauced sushi. You can't even taste the sushi anymore. I loved the freshness and simplicity of your original menu. Sometimes less is best. You can keep your new menu, unless you bring back the old rolls I don't see me going there quite as often as I did. The only thing that will have me back is your excellent staff. more

best hibachi chefs in pittsburgh! 7/19/2011

I have come here multiple times and had possibly every different chef possible... and each one of them is great! I love how each chef has something different to present to the table to entertain the guests. For example, some chefs are better with the razzle dazzle while other chefs are excellent in talking and entertaining us with general conversation. i love it here! more

We dined here tonight. The food was great as was the overall service. Our chef, Collin, made the experience an extremely enjoyable one. He was knowledgeable, skilled, and very entertaining. We can only pay him the highest of compliments! more

i love hibachi! 7/13/2011

i love hibachi! i had clif last night and he was so funny. ive had other chefs here before too and each of them are good in their own way. i ordered the filet and shrimp the filet was so good! the shrimp was cooked perfectly. our meal comes with a soup and salad and trust me... that's enough for you to get full. will make my way down here again soon! more

great decision 7/11/2011

i first went to pf changs this past sat and they told me it would be a hr and half wait! so i went down and came here. they told me the wait was 30 min here but i got in sooner than that. i am glad i did that b/c honestly the food here is so much better than changs. sure it is a little more pricier but you are paying for quality food as opposed to scraps that they would fry at changs. come here for a good time and great food. more

i enjoy coming here for happy hour... the sushi and drink prices are lower. i love sushi and the specialty drinks here... soooooo good! the bartenders are very nice and make it so much fun to come here. more

i had collin as my chef and he was the best! my two girls loved him and i couldn't say enough about how good he was. Normally, you dont call out the manager of the restaurant to compliment how good service was... but in this case i did. he was fantastic and the food was great. def going to come back here again! more

Excellent sushi 7/7/2011

The sushi here is excellent. I don't remember the exact names of all the rolls and dishes, but we had some roll called the Japanese Mafia or something like that and it was TO DIE FOR! The sushi chefs are really creative and make some tasty sushi rolls. more

be prepared to get blown away! 7/6/2011

this restaurant has to be the most entertaining steakhouse that i've ever been to. our server was so personable and was so fun to talk with. Our chef was also so very entertaining. he had us in tears at one point and it made our entire meal so enjoyable. the food was prepared right infront of us and the tricks that the chefs used were amazing. i did not finish all of the food but im glad i have some leftover for lunch tom! a+!! more

come here for a great time! 7/6/2011

i came here for my gf's suprise bday party and had a fantastic time. i arrived there early and they had secured us a party room in the back. we went and decorated it and then i came 30 min later with her and they played it out perfectly. the food was fantastic and the chefs were very entertaining. it's hard to find places that can accomodate 25 people but we found our place! the service was great and everything about the entire experience was awesome. the finale where the servers sing happy bday was the best part. we were prob the rowdiest customers in the place but that's ok. haha. come here for a great time! more

i'm sitting at the table waiting for the check right now... so i thought i'd write up a review about my experience. awesome. the hibachi chef was so entertaining... he had me in tears at one point... his show and his persona made the night. the service was above and beyond. the food and drinks were great! i have two boxes worth of food to take back with me... i'm happy that i have my meals for tom! i'm definitely coming back here! more

""wow!"" is the word that comes to mind when i left this restaurant. this place blew all the other japanese hibachi places that ive ever been too! this includes the one that i went to in disney! the chef i had put on quite a show and was so funny! i had the best time talking with him while he prepared the food infront of my family! also, the manager and staff there were so attentive to all my needs. the food here is amazing! and they give you alot! i had the best time here and i am sure to come back! you got a regular customer for life!!! more

My family and I go to Yokoso Japanese steak house regularly. We love it! We eat here at least once a month and sometimes more. Dinner portions are very large and I am always happy to take leftovers the very next day. more

I felt this restaurant was great. The staff was extremely friendly and it helped create a good atmosphere. I really liked how they cooked the food right in front of you because it lowers the worry about the food being sanitary. I give this restaurant 2 thumbs up! more

Best Japanese steak house 6/22/2011

The best Japanese steak house I have eaten at. They have talented chiefs with good sense of humor, wonderful food, a good show, and great salad dressing. I have traveled 2 hrs. to this place (from home) just to get the salad dressing. You should really try this place. more
