Best Mechanic I've found 3/29/2012

I brought my 2000 Taurus to Yearby's 4 years ago. It probably had 180,000 miles on it. My car had a lot of problems. Yearby fixed them all, and at a fair price. Engine, suspension, brakes, motor mount, axle, tune-up, etc. He works hard to keep the price down. For example, when my power steering was going out, he recommended a system flush. That fixed it. I now have 260,000 miles and the car is running fine. Good honest mechanic. If you want to keep you car longer, he's the guy to go to. more

Best aout repair in Durham area 10/1/2008

The best auto repair shop that I have ever used. The quality of the service is 100% and cost of the work has always been fair. This is the shop that I confidently send my friends and family in need of care repair. more

Good local repair shop 1/24/2004

Norm runs a good repair shop for domestic and Japanese cars (no Euro). Very quick service (most jobs done in a day or two with no prior appointment), friendly and curteous. Prices about average but fair. Explanations and information are complete when you request them. I've had about 3-4 repairs done there and always been happy. Even lets you bring in your own parts depending on the circumstance, which is unusual and nice. Pros: Good work, Prompt service more
