The Woof & Purr Inn has been in business for over twenty years. As the new resident owners since May 15, 1996, we have made numerous improvements which we feel will only improve the quality of care your pet will receive. Having three dogs and two cats of our own, we believe that your pets are as precious as any family member and we promise to always treat them that way.We believe that fresh air, sunshine, good food and personal care are the requirements for operating a proper kennel.Our customers have said time and again, "Our dogs can't wait to get here!"Reservations are recommended at least four weeks (and sometimes more) in advance. If you have never boarded your pet before, remember that whenever there is a school vacation, the kennels "fill up" because parents go away with their kids. Reservations for major holidays are usually required to be made at least twelve weeks in advance. If you are planning on boarding, please keep this in mind. We don't want you to be disappointed.Our kennel is fully heated and air conditioned for your pets safety and comfort. It is fully protected by a central station monitored fire and smoke alarms.Our facility is double and in some cases triple fenced for your pet's security.We thoroughly clean and disinfect our kennel each morning and continually clean throughout the day as needed. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our kennel. We would want nothing less for our own pets.We don't charge extra for personal attention. The reason we own a kennel is that we love animals. We want your pets to have a good time during their stay with us.We look forward to meeting you.. Boarding Dogs:We are in indoor/outdoor facility. Each dog has his own spacious indoor kennel area and a door which leads to his/her own outdoor run. Our smaller dogs have a 3' x 3' indoor area and a 3' x 12' outdoor run. Larger dogs have a 5' x 6' indoor area and a 5' x 20' outside run. Weather permitting; dogs are outside for most of the day.We require proof of current Distemper (DHLPP),Rabies and Bordetella shots. These shots should be given at least one week prior to their stay with usCat Boarding:Your cat will enjoy our cat condos. These feature glass backs,portholes and resting perches. Each condo is spacious enough for two cats.We require different distemper and rabies shots for cats.Grooming Services:We offer complete grooming services for most breeds of dogs at our facility. The grooming services are available to you whether or not you board your dog with us. Appointments are required. Please note that we do not groom cats.
