3- star review to strike a balance between how pleased I was with Dr. Roth and how frustrated with his support staff. Dr R was probably the best optometrist I've ever seen -- super helpful, efficient, non-pushy, obviously very skilled, and an extremely nice guy. However. It took several months for my contact lenses to arrive because his assistant kept forgetting to complete the order. Phone calls were not picked up -- during business hours -- and at least 3 voice mails went unanswered. Assistant promised several times to order them and deliver them to my house -- which sounded great and would be a nice service if he'd follow through! -- and each time neglected to do the order. At my last contact with them (an in-person visit on my day off, as the phone thing wasn't working out), he said he'd have the factory deliver them to my house. Last night I got a phone call that said the contacts are finally ordered -- and in their office. argh! Assistant is also a nice guy but appears to have some severe organization issues. I'm frustrated enough to leave Woodstock Eye Care behind. Which sucks, because, again, Dr Roth is really great!
This is a good office to go to if you have time and patience to deal with the admin stuff, but people who work 8 to 5 hours and need reliable service (and someone to talk to by phone) would be well advised to skip it.
