I received a gift card for the Woodhouse Day Spa for my 50th birthday from my friend. She lives out of state, so I finally booked an appointment and went by myself. Having only been to a couple of other spas in large cities, I was excited but a little apprehensive about going to one locally. The staff members made me feel very welcome and went out of their way to assist with anything I needed. The flavored water was wonderful, and each time they put more ice in to refresh it was much appreciated. The only thing I would change would be the "quiet" room. Sometimes they forget to close the doors completely and even when the doors are closed, you can hear the talk in the hallway outside. Other than that, I consider this spa to be as good as others I have been to, and the PLUS is, it is right here at home where I can visit more often. One downside is if you get sick or something unexpected comes up, you are penalized by 50%. I consider that a bit too much because unforeseen things do happen that are not avoidable. I would think a 20% charge is plenty for a rescheduled appointment, considering the cost of services. That is the only issue that prevents me from going more often. I would suggest they have a lighter, less restrictive policy on rescheduling for repeat clients. Other than that, this is a great place to visit! more

A couple years ago my husband (then fiance) bought me a gift certificate to the Woodhouse Day Spa for my graduation from college gift. I used it last year for our wedding. I wanted to get a pedicure. I had never had one before but thought it would be a nice touch to the cute shoes I was wearing. I bought my sister (who was the matron-of-honor) one as well and our mom went with it. I thought "oh my feet are so ticklish" so I was a little worried about that. But the experience was so wonderful. Better than I expected. It didn't tickle as much as I thought it would and it was so relaxing with the nice hot foot bath and neck warmer. I loved the color I picked out too and it lasted for quite a while afterward. It was definitely worth doing it. I've gone back for another one this year and plan on going back. The whole place, atmosphere and all is just so cozy and relaxing. more

My friend had went here for a massage and told me how wonderful it was. I went myself had the best massage. The atmosphere is very relaxing they make you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. My friends for my birthday new how much I liked it and have gotten me a gift certificate. I have had other massages, but nothing like this. I will keep going back every time I need a great relaxing experience. more

I had never had a massage before my boyfriend got me a gift card for a volcanic stone massage for Christmas and I'm so glad this was my first place! Everyone made me feel so welcome and answered all of my questions nicely and put me at ease. Davina was excellent at explaining what to expect during the massage and then did a great job executing! The quiet room was beautifully designed to make you want to stay there forever and even they're water made me want to stay! I can't wait to go back again and experience more! more

You feel like you are taken to a new world from the time that you enter through the front door until you leave. Ambiance is quiet and relaxing. Staff is very professional and services are not even comparable anywhere else in town! more

I love this place!! I received a the Essential Purifying Facial the first time I visited after my dermatologist recommended facials for my acne and I could see a noticeable improvement in my skin right away. It was smoother, clearer, and more toned! I keep coming back for the facials but have also gotten a pedicure here and although it was expensive it was definitely worth it! more

Having traveled extensively and visited many spas, there is really no comparison to the experience at the Woodhouse Day Spa in Fort Wayne, IN. I have visited Woodhouse Day Spas in other cities also, only to be disappointed. Management at this location knows what they are doing. more

I visited this spa site unseen for my 30th birthday party. I had friends fly in from all over the country and everyone was so pleased with the service, beauty and spaciousness of the spa. From the moment we walked in we felt like royalty. The staff was warm and friendly and the volcanic stone massage was out of this world...I have never been so relaxed! They had a special room just for our gorup, and we snacked on fine cheese and wine while we rested between services. We are making this an annual event. Oh I went here to get a little bit of body work done; it was one of the bests. The atmosphere was very relaxing. Another great touch you are offered a nice tasty drink before and after like I did. The only thing, i took a shower in the locker room, which is kind of in a wierd spot, but the shower like almost leaked out all over the floor, i was kind of wierd...if you been there you know what i mean...great place for body work! Pros: Great body work, very relaxing place to be Cons: Bathrooms kind of weird, but you don't spend much time in there anyway. more
