Woodfield Mall

It is hard to find parking and you usually have to wait in long lines at the restaurants. It does have a lot of stores but I prefer Stratford Mall, even though it does not have as many stores, but it is more kid friendly. Stratford has a couple of play areas and a huge fountain that my kids enjoy, plus it gives me time to build more energy for the next round of shopping. more

This is hands down the best mall in Chicago. Ever since I have been here, I will drive whatever distance to make it to this mall. It is an indoor mall and they have all different types of stores here. I really can't think of any store that they don't have in this big shopping center. Plus, whenever I go to this mall I always find great bargains. They also have great options for eating here. They have fast food type places and formal sit down type restaurants. A trip to this mall is always so much fun! more

This is an awesom shopping center. It has basically every store possible. You can really spend the entire day here and get everything you need. There are also many restaurants in here as well to eat lunch and even dinner. My personal favorite is the Cheesecake Factory. Yet during Christmas season this place gets packed with shoppers. It gets real hard shopping and the lines get veryyy long! more

One thing is very true about Woodfield Mall and that is the fact it is huge. There is pretty much any store for any product you could possibly want availabl here. There are book stores, music stores, and clothing stores. Anchored by stores like Nordtrom and Sears and Marshall Fields (soon to be Macy's). There are plenty of great restaurants as well. The Cheesecake Factory is located at Woodfield and I have written a great review of that restaurant elsewhere on this website. The only complaint I can think of regarding this mall is that it is often overpopulated with teenagers. Also, during the holidays the place is pretty much impossible to get around in or to find a place to park near. Still, once you do get inside, the holiday display is pretty cool and worth a look. more

Oh my goodness, talk about one huge mall! Levels upon levels, stairs and ramps leading you to “in-between” levels. Very easy to get lost if you are not familiar with the lay-out. Numerous stores and restaurants to chose from. If you can’t find a nice present or gift at this mall, then I just don’t think you’ll find it anywhere. more

True to several other reviewers, I agree that you either love or hate Woodfield. It's probably one of the largest malls I've ever seen, and it has certainly had every retail store I could imagine. While my wife and I can only take so many hours walking around the enormous mall, we really enjoy the ramped levels and great boutique stores like the Lego and Skechers stores. There are several restaurants in the complex, so you don't even have to leave the mall for lunch or dinner. It's a little too far for us to make it our usual mall, but it's really fun for an afternoon of browsing. more

I like this mall the best among all the malls in the Chicago land area. Its big, but not so big that its hard to get around. There The are so many stores here and a lot of great finds, like a Nordstrom, Marshall Fields, and an Abercrombie. The mall has a ton of stores and it is fun to shop here at any time because it is so lively here. There are also many nice restaurants here to eat at as well. I love this mall, especially during Christmas time, when they decorate the entire mall with holiday decorations. If you haven't been here, then you must make a trip out. more

Some people love it, some hate it. It is so big, it borders on too big. 4 levels of stores, zillions of stores, even more stores than that. This is a great temple to the god of Materialism that is the real current America God, if you will excuse the cynical blaspheme. If you love to shop you will be in hog heaven here. That sucking sound is the money being emptied out of your credit cards. This is being written after Christmas so you might be able to walk here without being trampled by the marauding hordes.
