Women's Resource Center

Just found the WRC Thrift Shop myself. Was very pleased with the low prices on items. I purchased an antique item for just pennies on the dollar! This store is a real find! Squeaky clean sales floor. Helpful and friendly volunteer staff. I also understand that they provide a wonderful service, by providing emergency needs vouchers for those in need. The poverty stricken and domestic abuse victims. I observed a family being helped with clothing and some household items. These were given free of charge! The lady/volunteer was very kind and respectful to them as well, which was impressive. I was happy to know that the money I spent helped this organization to help others. I've found a new place to take my donations. Parking a little hairy, but worth the hassle! more

If you are a bargain hunter, then you will LOVE the Women's Resource Center thrift store. They have a wonderful selection (many of their items still have tags on them!) Their selection is huge and ever-changing. You can find just about anything that you're looking for. The store is located on Garfield Avenue which is a very busy street (getting back out can sometimes be a hassle) but it's generally worth it for the bargains you'll find. more
