I rented February 2010 to February 2011. When my roommate and I moved in it was run by a management team who was really laid back. \r

We moved into a clearly older apartment. Carpet was stained and honestly disgusting. They re-cleaned the carpets but everyone knows when a carpet is stained the stains eventually come back through. Bathroom laminate floors were stained. Window sills were filled with dirt and layers of grim. We tried taking pictures but after moving in we continued to come across more and more issues. I was not concerned because obviously these issues were seen by management and the apartment was some what older so I assumed it fell under wear and tear. \r

Other then the cleaning issues, the apartment was good. Our rent was decent, the floorplan was perfect for roommates because the two bedrooms were practically equal in size. The walls were very thin and you could hear everything the neighbors were doing...\r

Around the middle of our year lease a new management team came and was extremely rude. They acted like they were managing the Ritz Carlton in New York City but had the demeaner and spoke like the people on Jerry Springer. Around November, my roommate and I contacted them to renew our lease. They were not interested. Apparently because my roommate and I are 26 we were not classy enough for their clientele. We asked several times to sit down with the manager because the woman answering the phone could not help us. When we would call them the woman would state that the manger was ""busy doing things"". When she said it her tone actually went up in pitch as if she was whining. \r

At that point we decided it was best to find a new place. Our mistake was not doing a walk through with them. But to be honest they were never available and were always ""busy doing things"". \r

I would never recommend this place to anyone. I am 26, college educated and have a professional job. I have always lived in really nice apartment complexes. We settled on this unit because we needed a place right away and the floor plan was great for roommates. I take care of my things and I have never been charged for not cleaning my units. I did not expect to get my deposit back but I did not expect to be charged 200 dollars for cleaning an older run down apartment.\r
