I enrolled my 55-year old mother in this program based on some positive reviews I ran across, as well as their website. I made a huge mistake in doing that.
During her stay, I made several calls to try and get status updates on my mom. I wanted to know what the plan was for her as well as how she was progressing. Every single time I called, the staff was not only unhelpful, they were outright rude. They were very quick to transfer the call to another section as nobody wanted to answer my questions.
When I finally had a chance to talk to my mom, it was very clear that she was regressing in treatment. She went in with severe depression and alcoholism and was promptly treated with a COCKTAIL of addictive drugs to include attivan.
They kept her so doped up that she was incoherent in our conversations. What I did understand was her telling me how unclean the facility was and how MEAN the staff was. She also said the place was completely unruly and there were physical fights on an almost daily basis.
She ""fell"" twice during her stay and was not found on the floor until the next morning. I think it is very possible she was having seizures, and when I mentioned this to one of the ""supervisors"" she had no idea that my mom was a seizure risk.
I could write quite a bit more about how unhappy I was overall with this program, but I will simply tell you that from a family member's perspective, I could not have been more unhappy with the treatment my mom received here or the way I was treated when I called.
If you have any other options, take it. DO NOT GO TO THIS PROGRAM.
