Willow Wood Pet Resort & Training Center

?We will NEVER use Willow Wood Pet Resort again. We got an email about the confirmed case of canine flu, that's it - no phone call, no voice message - an email!!! We called immediately and were informed that we had nothing to be worried about and that our two dogs were "doing fine". We decided to not chance it and pick them up as soon as they opened on Friday morning....When we picked them up, both of our pups were coughing and we were told that one of them had been throwing up. As we were taking the dogs out, they allowed two people to drop off their pets for "day stay". ARE YOU KIDDING ME? THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF IRRESPONSIBLE! Immediate vet visit to get antibiotics for the Kennel Cough and coughing meds in hopes that it's not the flu. However, one of ours is now so sick that we may need to hospitalize her as she's stopped eating and drinking. No worries for Willow Wood though, "we don't cover that" is their response. Wrong answer Willow Wood.. Highly recommend that if you love your pets as we do that you steer clear of this terrible pet resort. All they care about is making money, not your pets! more

This place is amazing! I was so nervous having to leave my puppy for the first time. They explained everything to me before I could even ask! (= They cover EVERYTHING when you come in and customize whatever you may need! They are very activity oriented and have a huge variety of other activites. They were so excited about some of the activities they created and explained how important it was while staying. I picked a Movie Matinee everyday! (= Louie played with his friends and got to watch Hotel for Dogs on their Big Screen TV. It was so cute! I truly hope everyone that has a pet gets to see what this place has to offer! more

After reading previous 2 reviews, I felt compelled to write in and rate them the 5 stars they deserve. Our dog has stayed several times ar the Pet Resort and I always know he is in the best of hands. We have him bathed and groomed before we pick him up and he always looks great. He is always happy to be left off there-- no resistance or struggle. The staff is caring, competent, and friendly. You won't find a better place to board your pet. more

We took our dog to be boarded here this summer when we went out of town for the weekend. I thought the staff was very professional and accommodating and I was not at all concerned about leaving my dog in such capable hands. Upon check-out we were given a written report of our dog's activities while we were gone. He was taken outside several times each day and our specified feeding schedule was followed exactly. I would highly recommend this place. more

It has been a few years since we have boarded our dog as we now have family near to watch her. However, the last time we took her here we were very pleased with the services they offer. They let the dogs out around 4-5 times per day, which is more than any other place we called. They also offer treats, baths, play time and I think they even offer massages for your dog! We did not think the prices were unreasonable. more
