That’s the advice I got when I collected my car after a 30K mileage interval service at Willow Glen Automotive, San Jose. They had changed the wiper blades which made a world of difference. The heat and dust, wet and dry takes a heavy toll on wiper blades. You need to have them in top shape in heavy rain, or in any rain for that matter. Excessive heat makes the blade rubber hard and take a set in a particular direction affecting their performance. With poor wiper blades your visibility is affected which can be dangerous. Most driers take wiper blades for granted, that’s when you compromise your family’s safety. Wiper blades, my automotive garage cautioned me, are one of the most disregarded components of safety equipment.
