One of the places to live in New Port Richey Florida. We have lived here for 6 years and we could not imagine living anywhere else. The entrance has a very old looking type covered bridge. There are 198 units in here consisting of one and two bedroomed. Some have carports and there are townhouses with a one car garage.You must be 55 years or older to live in here. We have several restrictions. No dogs are allowed (Except service dogs). Only indoor cats. There is a monthly maintenance fee, which covers your cable television, yard work, roofing, painting and garbage collection. We have a beautiful clubhouse, heated swimming pool, tennis court and shuffleboard. In the clubhouse we hold bingo, dining in and other social functions. There are dine outs to local restaurants every month. There is a Board of Directors and a Social Board. All volunteers. They hold monthly meetings in the clubhouse. It is call The Wilds and we do have our wild life. more

Taking care of business for us. 6/21/2006

When my husband and I bought in the Wilds we had an orientation. One person has to be 55 years old to live here. A couple of years later and my husband is on the board of the Wilds Condominium Association. Now he spends most of his time volunteering on the board. They take care of the outside of our properties, new roofs, painting, landscaping, but what I like best is we get extended cable television, trash pick up, heating swimming pool, tennis court, Clubhouse all included in a low monthly maintenance. The most important thing I left to last, our property insurance is also included. The Wilds is a little bit of heaven and we drive into it through a covered bridge. This is our secret and I don't want it to get out. more
