Fun Family friendly activity 3/13/2012

I've been on Safari in Africa and while this isn't the same we were pleasantly surprised that the car drive was pretty close. Highlight was seeing the Bears up close (Just 5 feet away from the car). My 15 month old had a blast from riding the train, to petting zoo, to car safari. more

Great Place to Spend the Day 4/14/2006

We go to Wildlife Safari pretty frequently (we live a couple of miles away). Its amazing! You're able to take your time watching exotic animals in their "natural" habitat. My 3 year old adores watching all the animals... we can hardly drag him away. Everytime we're headed in that general direction he starts in with, "Are we going to see the animals?" If you live close by, get the annual pass. I think its like $75 and you can visit as many times as you want in a year. Its a great deal and the money goes towards a really great cause! more

Like Visiting a True Safari 2/1/2006

The Wildlife Safari near Roseburg is beyond amazing. If you are taking a trip south, be sure to plan a day at the Safari. The drive through the park gives you panoramic vistas of the animals from Africa, Asia and the Americas. The experience is the complete reverse of a typical zoo… the animals’ room freely and you are the one on the display. The variety of creatures will astonish you, from grizzly bear to giraffe, take a tour and enjoy. In addition to the drive through the animal park, they offer a small Village with café, elephant rides, animal shows and a close up view of smaller animals in cages. more
