my child attends this school this is his second year there. I don't ever recall there being any violence. I like lewis because it is a small school everyone knows everyone. I like the idea students are called friends instead of students. They call the teachers by their 1st name. At the end of the year the whole school goes to watson park and they have a field day. During the year they have country fair pizza bingo fall festival where each class makes stone soup and parents are welcome to attend. The school promotes reading in many ways such as summer reading program and nightly homework is always read for 20 minutes they also do raed around and earn prizes when they reach goals. My child likes lewis.
I do belive they have funding problems because it seems like they are always looking for money or a donation for everything they do. This does kind of bother me but not enough to change schools.
