Great job! 1/4/2010

We used White Star Movers to move from Utica to Sterling Heights three years ago, and did not hesitate to contact them for or current move to Troy. The women on the phone was very friendly and helpful and notified me very clearly of the added hour fee after the men had finished. I gave her a list of the items we were moving (our larger furniture) and she estimated it would take the men six hours. The two men arrived on time and ready to go (going over our list and again, notifying me of the added cost after they finished). They were very polite and professional, even joking with my little kids. They finished the job in less than three hours. Obviously I was pleased with that! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is moving. more

HORRIBLE 7/30/2009

They scammed me and added extra fees at the end and then just called me an idiot for apparently not understanding. I went over their fees multiple times with them before booking their services. The movers were slow, damaged one piece of furniture, and they WILL add hidden fees. Go with ANY other company. more

good moving company 8/19/2005

We recently moved into a home from an apartment and used White Star to move our bigger items. they had a good price and were available when we needed them. we moved the little items ourselves and just had them move the larger furniture, which we didn't have too much of living in an apartment. the men who came to do the work were very professional and careful with our stuff, it was nice to see them care about our stuff and not just toss it around. they did their job quickly and efficiently. I don't plan to move again for a while but when I do I will definitely be calling them again. more
