I love ice cream, and I love this ice cream. Lately I've been enjoying their version of the turtle candy. Bob's chocolate fudge turtle. It's a delicious chocolate ice cream with a caramel swirl, cashews, chocolate chips and caramel filled chocolate turtle candies! It sounds like alot, but the balance is just right every time. Tastes just like the candy, which is always a plus. For those with a more sophisticated taste, try the Key Lime Pie. It tastes just like the real pie! The base is a delicious blend of a key lime pie filling, and graham cracker crumbs are found throughout the ice cream, for the ultimate ice cream version of this delicious frozen treat. The sizes of ice creams might be slightly confusing at first (they only have kiddie, small and large) but once you figure out how it breaks down, you realize they aren't gypping you of anything. Upon ordering a small, I was informed that a small is not what it appears. The girl advised me that a small is "two BIG scoops," with emphasis on big. Sure enough, she wasn't lying. I heard a woman next to me say "That's a kiddie?!" Not only do they give you a generous amount of ice cream, but it's delicious too. Pros: Large portions Cons: two kiddies is $5.20, so make sure you have an extra quarter or two more

My FAVORITE place to go when fall arrives is most definitely White Farms Ice Cream! Most people would think that it is too cold for ice cream, but I find fall to be the BEST sundae whether. On those brisk autumn days I hurry to get one of their famous warm and gooey brownie sundaes! These three scoop sundaes include a lucious chocolate brownie, dripping hot fudge, mounds of creamy whipped cream, and my favorite, chocolate sprinkles. Every other Sunday for the last few years, my family and I have gone to White Farms for a sweet dessert after a long morning in church. This family friendly place has been nothing but smiles and attentive service since our first Sunday visit. Each time a new friend joins us at services we are sure to intoduce them to this delicious family tradition. This is incredible ice cream. Since I've lived in town I've tried all the local spots and this stuff is unbelieveable. My favorite is the "purple cow" it's Black Raspberry frozen yogurt with white and dark chocolate chips. The Maine Black Bear is great, too- or if you like something different try the Grapenut (vanilla ice cream with the memorable cereal mixed in) or the Dino Crunch- Blue ice cream is always fun! more

I recently went to White Farms while visiting friends in Ipswich. I am a huge ice cream fan and I have to say White Farms makes great ice cream! During my 5 day stay we went 3 times (because i loved it so much) and each time I tried a new and wonderful flavor. I recommend the caramel cow, vanilla ice cream with caramel and white and drak chocolate, or the chocolate fudge turtle, chocolate ice cream with caramel and cahsews. I have been going to White Farms Ice Cream for over 6 years. My family and I love their ice cream. They use nothing but the highest quality ingredients. I have never been to any other ice cream stand where the help is as friendly and helpful as the help at White Farms. I would HIGHLY recommend White Farms to anyone in the area! YUM! This is the best homemade ice cream around! there are so many amazing flavors! i have been going there for 5 years now and i have not found a bad flavor yet! boston magazine could not have chosen a better place to include in their top 25! Pros: great service, ample selection, great taste more

i saw this place listed on a top 25 list on boston magazine so i gave it a try, it was just horrible, not creamy, all overrun bad flavor , i tried 3 flavors took one bite of each and tossed the rest of it in the trash! it was that bad. Pros: none Cons: bad taste, all air, bad quality more
