White Bear Lake Bowl 7/17/2008

HELLO!!!! White Bear Lake Bowl was featured on one of the best Comedy Central shows EVA!!! ""Let's Bowl"" was a hilarious game show that ran from 2001-2002 and featured many bowling alleys in the Minneapolis area where 2 feuding contestants battled on the bowling alley. One of those bowling alleys was White Bear Lake Bowl! Contestants won hilarious prizes such as a 1979 Pop- up camper or a ""Weekend to Superior, Wisconsin to visit the infamous ""Tower Avenue"" nightlife""...It's a piece of comedy history... a definite MUST SEE!!! You can't go wrong! more

Best Bowling Alley Ever!!! 2/21/2008

I absolutely love white bear bowl. It is in a very conveniant location and is in vry good shape. great service nice lanes. never much of a crowd and very cheap food and overall costs. Never a wait at the front desk and lovely environment. The bowling alley is very hi-tech and is always clean and smells fresh. Great place for a party, or to hang out. Very good arcade and overall great place. My one problem with it is sometimes i feel im not good enough for it. Pros: Everything is great Cons: Almost too good to be true. more

not to good 10/11/2002

We went here with our high school for a meet, and it was the worst bowling alley ever. The lane conditions were okay, but otherwise, i don't wver want to go back there. The scoring system was about 15 years old. One of the lanes we use didn't even count the pins on the monitor. we had to have someone type it in. It was extremely crowded too. For people with clausterphobia, this would not be the bowling alley for you. more
