We couldn't have asked for anything more from our wedding reception. The cocktail hour was incredible - second-to-none! The huge spread of food and abundant drink options is what sets the Westmount apart from all other wedding venues in the area. The food was exceptional throughout the night and the decor/accommodations were perfect. Another highlight of the evening was the extraordinary service - the entire staff was kind, attentive, and prompt. The feedback from our wedding guests has been excellent as well. I now know what so many other brides have been bragging about!!! I just had my wedding reception at the fabulous Westmount Country Club. I am overwhelmed with happiness. My phone has not stopped ringing, one compliment after the other. From the hospitality of the staff, the remarkable food, the breathtaking views to the wonderfuld and accomodating servers, my guests are blown away. I have been to many weddings myself but never have I seen anything like the performance of the Westmount. What a well polished operation. I will forever hold this most special day close to my heart. Many, many thanks to everyone at the Wetmount for making this day superb. Over and over I've heard I set the bar too high for my friends when they are ready to get married. I've been at the Westmount many times and they just recently renovated. WOW!!! The place looks amazing! I mean it looked beautiful before too but now it's just breathtaking! It's got a very modern and sleek design that you don't see around this area often. I've gotten to know the owners quite well and they are all such wonderful people and have always provided such AMAZING service! Karen and Bobby are at your back and call and help you every step of the way. This place is truely AMAZING! They make your wedding so much more stress free and let you enjoy that special day instead of worrying about the little things! more

I was there for a Wedding this past weekend & not only was I a guest, but I was the coordinator for her Wedding. Needless to say, the second I walked into the room where the cocktail hour was being set-up, I spoke to Bobby the banquet manager & he walked me right into the main room where he did nothing, but complain about how we were setting up the DJ vs. the band. I told him we were following the diagram that the bride submitted not only to me, but to HIM & he claimed to know nothing about it. Regardless of his unprofessional ism on how he spoke to me, I carried on w/ what i knew was the plan based on the bride. When cocktail hour finally started, he puled me aside just to bitch as to why no one was playing the piano or singing right away b/c there shouldn't be dead air. I agree to that, however he again did not read the time line the bride provided...he proceeded to talk down to us as if we knew nothing. Again, we were following the brides wishes & she was even upset that she missed 2 of the songs that the band played b/c of the pushy banquet mgr...Bobby! Towards the end of the night i was the one who provided Karen, the maitre d w/ her tip & she told me that all tip envelopes have to go through Bobby 1st & not even 20min went by & Karen found me & said that that wasn't the amt that was ""agreed upon"". I DIDN'T KNOW THAT U CAN NEGOTIATE YOUR TIP?! Anyway, a few min later Bobby found me & asked me if that was the envelope that the groom gave me & i said it was given to me by the bride. He then says that it's not the agreed upon tip amount. (Later i asked the Bride & Groom if there was an ""Agreed"" amt for tip & they said No...Bobby gave them a suggested tip amt...a minimum number at that!) So during my conversation w/ Bobby about the tip...i simply asked...is the tip amt contracted??? He couldn't even look me in the eye, but did answer no. IN A NUT SHELL...HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE....HORRIBLE STAFF, BUT MAINLY HORRIBLE & UNPROFESSIONAL BANQUET MANAGER BY THE NAME OF BOBBY! If u like being talked down to & being told what u HAVE to Tip...then go right ahead & book there. It's a nice place, but not enough to deal w/ an A class Ass. more

Westmount has it all going on! The look is new and very sleek. The staff is attentive to every detail..making your day memorable from start to finish. I can't think of another place that can top the Westmount. The food and service are always on the money. Your guests never stop telling you what a great time they had at your party..it makes all of your efforts worth the time you took to make this the day of your dreams. We had our prom there in 2007 and it was very impressive, even beautiful then. It is more stunning now but I feel we were slighted food wise. It appeared to be a cheaper variety for the buffet and not as much of it. They ran out of the meatballs and the steak, with no other entree other than roast turkey. The students were waiting for the main dishes and there were none. Tacos for a prom. Pros: Excellent scenery, interiors and decor. Cons: Housekeeping during the event, skipping on food value more
