Extremely disappointed with this company. I recommend working directly with your hotel and their wedding service. You'll save a ton of money and a ton of tears and headaches.
I didn't know anyone that got married out of the country and felt more comfortable with a domestic based company. I wanted to ensure that I had ""rights"".
Our bill for the ceremony, legal fees, etc. was around $6,000 that we paid to this company. The wedding planners were great in Mexico, but to find out that they do the same thing for the same money if you would book through a 3-star hotel.
The service out of WI was horrible. I spent time sending photos of flowers, etc a head of time to only get down there and find out that the ""on site"" coordinator never received. The woman was not very timely with her communication back to me. I was also horrified when they called to tell me that they never received my documents that I Fed Exed to them, to find out that someone at their office signed for them and didn't put them where they should have been. Mexico has strict laws and I wasn't sure how I was going to break the news to my guests that there may not be a wedding since this place ""lost"" my important documents. My planner had a snappy and cranky attitude - but by the time I realized this, it was 2 months away from the event, she had our money and I didn't know what else to do.
My family was visiting Mexico and stopped at the site 2 months before my big day, and 6 months after my fees and bills were paid in full to find out that the location deposit was NEVER paid and they didn't have anything on record for me.
I never received items that were part of the package that I paid for and no one ever explained the hassle that I would experience when I got back to the states with a Mexican marriage license. My husband and I almost had to go to a court house to make it easier for getting my car registered in my married name with the DMV.
I could go on and on about why NOT to choose them. Since then, I know several people who planned a destination Mexico wedding and none had the experience I did and they went through the hotels down there and got more for their money and no head aches. Don't make the same mistake that I did.
