Pricey and not worth it 4/7/2006

I only had one experience at Wavelengths getting my eyebrows waxed and I would never go back. It was $17 for a wax which I feel it ridiculous. It is not that difficult to do a good job waxing eyebrows and you can go to Lee Nails by The Southpoint Mall for $8. I have also heard from many people that the haircuts are also terrible. It seems that they are scissor happy at Wavelengths and everyone's hair it much too short when they leave. It was less then a mile from my house but I drive Chapel Hill to get my hair cut. more

Great Aveda salon 9/6/2005

This is a fabulous salon with a large line of products. Not only can you get your hair dyed and cut here, they also offer manicures, pedicures and waxing. The staff is friendly and up-to-date in their knowledge. Located off Ninth Street in Durham the Aveda Salon is one of the best in town! more

Wonderful service, wonderful cuts 8/23/2005

A mainstay of the ninth st. strip in Durham, Wavelengths is an Aveda Salon that offers full hair cutting, styling, coloring, manicuring, and pedicuring. They have a fairly consistent staff who do magic with hair. They are very friendly and offer suggestions without being pushy. They also have an extensive line of products. more
