Bowling is the new Black. While Waveland stays true to their roots, they are constantly searching for the ?it? factor: the newest, hottest, flashiest thing around. Whether it?s ...

A Split 5/2/2006

I get a kick out of bowling once in a while. I probably should go more often so my game would be more consistent. This place has alot of lanes and is a nice looking, fairly modern bowling alley. They are close to Lane Tech and the problem with that is all the kids that flood here and try to take over this place. Even though Lane is a really good school there are alot of gang bangers that go there, hang out around there and love this place. To add to that this area is heavily populated and there are no other bowling alleys around to choose from. The place itself is cool but keep these things in mind especially during school hours. Are kids getting out of school at 11 AM these days? What's up with that? more

Bowling in Waveland 8/21/2005

Waveland Bowl is a decent place for bowling. There are several lanes to satisfy your bowling needs, there food and drinks to keep you full, and there's even cosmic bowl at night with all the lights and fog to distract you. I've only been to this place once, but if I were to be in that area in Chicago again, and bored out my my mind, I would consider Waveland Bowl again. more

Bowling in the north side of Chicago 8/10/2005

I've been to Waveland bowling once for a company outiing. It was a nice bowling alley, very clean and not too smoky. We did go there during the day so i am not sure how bustling the business is in the evenings or weekends. Their computer screens tracked our scores, which allowed those of us unfamilar with the scoring to get by fine. I would recommend this bowling alley to friends. more

I have been going here since I was a child. One of my kids thew a birthday party here as well. They have plenty of lanes, they serve food, and if you don't want to bowl, they have pool tables and video games for the kids. There's always parking and the staff is friendly. more
