Worst

We used to come here every weekend and recently We noticed they increase the price but the food quality is not as good as it used to be and I have never see any high end restauran...

SUSHIFORME 8/21/2002

Excellent fresh, well done, with an eye for correct presentation, generous quantities at a modest price for the high quality and pleasing hospitality. Parking is beside restaurant and access is easy and well lighted at night. Quick service staff makes a business lunch or dinner effortless. Pros: Fresh, Presentation, Traditional more

Masa rocks! 8/21/2002

My first expereince eating at Waraji was very close to perfect. I keep going back to see if I just got lucky. The only luck involved is that I decided to try Waraji that first time. Masa & company keep each visit good as my first. more

Appetizers a must 8/8/2002

The calamari and Tofu appetizers are perfectly prepared. If you are a sushi buff, not only is it a good price, but the dishes are prepared wonderfully. more

Carves up the competition. 8/6/2002

Equal to or better than any sushi bar in NYC, DC, Seattle or San Francisco. Try the Crunch Roll and the Mary Roll and see if you can eat sushi anywhere else. Pros: Best Sushi Anywhere, Fresh, Fresh, Fresh Cons: The wait can be long., Crowded., Expensive. more

YUM 8/6/2002

The sushi here is some of the best I've ever tasted. I recently moved to the area and thought I'd never find someplace as good as my favorite place back home. The friendly service is somewhat slow but then I've never eaten at a Sushi restaurant that wasn't. Pros: Great Food, Friendly Service Cons: Slow Service more

Don't go, you'll be taking my table!! 8/6/2002

Good Sushi selection. Crunchy roll has a good taste. The tuna is excellent some nights, otherwise it's just very good. Bite the bullet, order a lot, pay the price, and roll your satisfied self home. Why did I write this? Don't go! You'll be taking my table. Gets a little crowded sometimes. Pros: Food Cons: Crowded more

sushi lovers' heaven 7/30/2002

This is one the best places to eat sushi at in the Triangle. Being a huge sushi fan, I have tried most places and this is the one that ranks at the top of my list. The only down side is that it is a little bit pricey, so we only get to go on special ocassions. Worth every penny though! Pros: excellent sushi Cons: bit pricey more

Definitely the BEST 7/25/2002

Excellent food, great atmosophere, the service is good, considering the amount of customers they handle. I recommend everyone to try Waraji. If you don't care for sushi, try a cooked item, you'll find something you enjoy. Pros: Variety, Flexibility Cons: Gets really busy more

#1 Sushi 7/24/2002

Best Sushi - hands down! Hated sushi until I had it from Waraji. Other items besides the sushi are great too! Pros: great take-out Cons: long wait, expensive more

Simply Excellent! 7/24/2002

This is a great restaurant. I have never had any complaint about food nor service (like in others). The Sushi is FRESH and big, I love it! I have visited many sushi places, so far this is my favorite. Enjoy! Pros: Authentic Japanese more

The floor!!! 7/12/2002

I've always wanted to go to a place where you get to sit in a private booth on the floor. The service was great and the food was wounderful. I'd eat there everyday if i could. more

too much for me 7/6/2002

the fish is usually fresh and has consistent color, but the sushi chefs make the pieces too big! you should be able to eat sushi in one bite. at waraji i can hardly fit a piece into my mouth. ?more

yum 7/4/2002

waraji is my favorite place to eat sushi... i drive 2 hours once a month to eat there. the chefs are excellent and the food is delicious. there is usually a long wait and the service is usually slow, but it's worth it to me for the food. Pros: unique atmosphere, quality, fresh, authentic food Cons: crowded, slow service more

Best in the Triangle 6/27/2002

Authentic Japanese dining. I think we've been to most sushi bars in the Triangle, and Waraji is our top-pick. The fish is incredibly fresh and the creative rolls melt in your mouth. Service has been fantastic for us every time and they are very kid-friendly. Especially convenient for kids is going early and sitting in the tatami section. Definitely worth the drive. Pros: great special rolls Cons: can get crowded more

Worth the drive past Sushi Blues 6/23/2002

Fresh, the mary roll, hurricane roll, frest maguro and unagi. Best place not attached to a mall. Great atomsphere and service. Go early and don't go on Monday's at all. (Closed). Pros: very fresh, added more rolls, ginger dressing Cons: too far from downtown, no "boats" more

Sushi Masters 5/19/2002

Top-notch sushi restaurant with lots of class. The Japanese decor is consistent with what you'd expect, but it's not necessarily typical--it's clean and stylish interior design, too. They have little rooms where you can take your shoes off, sit on the floor and have the entire experience. The wait staff is attentive and courteous. And above all, the sushi is the best you'll find in the Triangle. Exceptional! more

Amazing sushi 5/13/2002

I've been battling a sushi addiction for years, and Waraji is my favorite place to indulge. We always start with the edamome (wonderfully salty and warm), and every now and then we'll get the red bean ice cream. The only drawback: If you hit this restaurant on a Saturday night you'll wait awhile--and the service suffers a bit. Pros: Great sushi Cons: Crowded more
