Walt Disney World Resort

What a wonderful way to renew our relationship. Both Harold and I have this prototype lifestyle....work 12 hour days, eat, sleep and back to work again. He is a Manager of an appliance store and I am at another location as a department manager. We don't get but an hour or so to be with each other every day and with our positions we usually have a great deal of stress. I can't tell you what a pleasant change to such a hectic routine it was. For one the atmosphere in FLA is so much more laid back, up here it is rush, rush,rush!!! Who would ever think that the beauty and all the neat things to do would remind us of our love for one another. This vacation was sorely needed for us both and I would like to thank the Golf Channel for a marvelous 3 days. more

My enjoyment was bringing my daughters here when they were growing up and they have been there more times than I can count on my hands. Now that I am older, I prefer places like Busch Gardens. I have won free day passes for this trip that I'm taking next week for Disney World and I think I will give them to my niece and nephew. My daughters loved "It's a Small World" and I enjoyed the Epcot Center especially for Italy. I know it sounds silly but I also love the bushes and shrubbery which are all cut in cute characters and designs. more

Walt Disney World, although it somewhat loses its charm when you revisit it at an older age, is one of those attractions that you can return to numerous times. There is an abundance of activities and things to do...and numerous parks to visit. We easily could have spent more than a week there...just visiting the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios, and the Animal Kingdom. It will always be one of our favorite attractions, and we will definitely be returning to visit it again! more

Walt Disney World is one of the places you just have to visit. There is so much to do and everything is so well-themed and put together. Even if you don't like amusement rides, you can find something at Disney World. For example, I just like strolling through World Showcase. It's quite an accomplishment if you can go without riding anything and still have a good time. more

Walt Disney World is located in Orlando, Florida. Hands down, Disney World is one of my favorite places in the world! Each time I go, which is quite often, I discover something new and magical there. The fun never ends in Disney World. There are four theme parks- Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom. Plus three water parks- Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon and River Country. The magic continues with Downtown Disney consisting of Pleasure Island (nightlife), Marketplace (shopping and restaurants) and West Side (more shops and restaurants. And you can't forget all the amazing resorts to fit everyone's budget. This is just a small overview of the main attractions in Walt Disney World. You will discover many more treasures when you are there. Do lots of research before you go, it's big and requires at least a basic plan and knowledge of the property. And most of all- have fun! more

Walt Disney World is just the best place ever for a vacation! Whether as an adult or with kids, it is so magical and really just so pleasant and fun! We love going here and frequent it often, and all four parks and the shopping at Downtown Disney are just amazing! Always changing and adding new and exciting attractions, too! more

We absolutely love vacationing at Walt Disney World. Aside from the terrific resort hotels, the theme parks are really fanatastic. It really is a"world" unto itself - truly like stepping from the hectic "real" world into a magical getaway. On our first trip, we were really amazed at how affordable Walt Disney World really is -- after hearing others say how expensive and crowded the parks were, we were happily surprised when we went and experienced for ourselves how truly affordable Disney really is! We have made several trips a year, loving each, and not breaking the bank in the process. I love that the theme parks are for everyone -- even those who do not like rides. There are plenty of non-ride attractions and tons to look at -- my mother came with us on one trip, and while my husband and I had our son on the rides, she filled her day with just looking at the wonderful displays and scenery, never becoming bored in the week we were there. There is truly something for everyone -- and at an affordable price as well :) more

I have been going to Disney World since it opened back in 1971, I think I've been about 30 times. You would think that I would grow tired of it after all those years, but just the opposite has been true for me. I fall more in love with the place every time I go. I am the one in the monorail crying like an idiot every time I see the castle come into view! There is so much to do at Disney World, it is impossible to be bored! There are rides for the thrill seekers, the scaredy cats, and the ones who just want to get off their feet for awhile. It is also one of the best places in the world to just sit and watch people. If you have children, the looks on their faces when they see the characters or finally decide they are brave enough to go on Space Mountain are priceless! I would suggest leaving the video camera at home (or in the hotel) and just enjoy the moment. Trust me, you will remember this forever, even without the video, and you will experience so much more than if you were looking through the viewfinder the whole trip. Just bring a camera. Remember, this truly is the most magical place on earth! more

I went to Disney World in Orlando for a four day vacation during my winter break and was sooo happy during my entire time there. (It was my first time at Disney World. I had only been to Disneyland.) Disney World has 4 theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and MGM. I spent one day in each theme park and was able to enjoy just about every ride I wanted to go on. Everything was so cute and everyone was so happy. I wanted to stay forever! more

This is a great date place to go. You can get a bite to eat and look at the all the Disney shops and even sometimes catch a concert going on, on weekends. This place has lots of great places to eat and even places to make your own create your own desserts which are heavenly. A great place to go for an evening out. more
