I won't rant about the substandard quality of service at my local walmart because i'm used to it and don't expect much as long as they get the job done. I only go to walmart for the cost of lenses because it's almost double the price everywhere else in the area and i can't always order online. Their lab is the real problem. Very mild rx, same in both eyes, lenses are cut differently. I use premium brand frames not sold at walmart. Sometimes lens pops out or there's a gap between lens and frame large enough i can put a sheet of paper through. Had to wait 10 days for my glasses and then lenses went back twice. They always screw up one side. When i finally got my glasses i noticed instead of gray lens like i asked, it was green. Now in the recent pair they got one side perfect but the other side they cut the lens too thin in some spots so it appears as if there's a gap between the lens and frame. Walmart staff refused to ship lenses back to the lab to have it redone. I don't know if i want to return to walmart for lenses. It's about the same hit or miss lottery everywhere else so for me it's the cost. Their scratch resistant polarized lens is about the same or inferior to others.
