Travel back in time 8/29/2009

Stayed here and LOVED it. It was like traveling back in time to the 60's beach trips I took with my parents. No phones or tv - pure relaxation. Very inexpensive. Great screened porch. Owner is great! more

The Best of Relaxed Living 8/29/2009

I've been going to Ann Walls for almost 30 years. No phone, no TV but the best deal at the beach. Clean, quaint and friendly - you won't find anything better. It's a short walk to the beach, family friendly. If you bring your own linens it's even cheaper! Nothing fancy but all you need for a relaxing time at the beach. Kids are encouraged to ride their bikes, familys are encouraged to use the picnic tables. You can cook but you won't cook much because the money you are saving on the room will give you plenty to spend on a wonderful dinner and whatever trinkets the kids want! more

Fantastic 7/5/2007

How charming to be able to stay at a place so secluded and stuck in time when everything around it is so hustle bustle and moving too fast. The accomodations are minimal and the lot is kept by the shade of majestic trees. Cast Iron cookware and old wooden rocking chairs, clotheslines and screen porches, nostalgia for the life of generations past. I recommend it one thousand times over for anyone not interested in HBO, A/C, and the finer things in life. more

Save your money 10/23/2005

Walls tells you they have up to date apartments. Please save your time and money. Nothing fancy and actually the unit we had was below fancy. Would never go back, as vacation was a disaster due to our room. It was hot and sticky and no way to control your air. Beds were disgusting and room did not look clean. Just not a place to enjoy a vacation. Quite a distance to walk to the beach. Only positive was a lot of parking. Price was cheap and that is what you got. more
