Jan. '06 - July '07. There have been major busts less than four feet from our back sliding door, complete with four police cars, dope sniffing dogs, & men handcuffed and down. Once three young guys came to our door randomly asking for mary jane. They told me no one had reefer here, but they had lots of offers of white powder in the apt complex. If you need maintenece, it can take upwards of 14 days to get a response, they just come-in your place with their keys without ANY notice when they have the time, + the repairs are a joke, probably because the apts are so old, & they have to come back multiple times to fix things over & over. The 2nd floor has sink holes - when you're walking your foot sinks down into the carpet & underlying board - feels like you'll fall right through. The complex has old baseboard heaters, in which management t turns completley off when the temp outside reaches a certain level. THIS IS ILLEGAL, see NRS 118A & read the individual sections (NRS 118A.350, 360, 380 to name a few). They do this as they are cheap & do not live on site. If the weather gets cold, which it will in Reno, they tell you to go out & buy a portable heater as the manager (Sherri at that time) will NOT turn the heat back on. Also, according to the Washoe Cnty Health Dept, Judy, Willowbrook has ""free standing brown water"" under the apt buildings. This has caused a massive mosquito infestation, regardless if there's water under your apartment or not. Mosquitos are everywhere, & come in through cracks & when you open the door. We were bitten constantly during the night, & at one point our daughter's hand swelled up due to five bites, & she required topical antibiotic and tests for West Nile. The only reason the manager had the unit sprayed outside was because the Health Dept came down on them. There are more stories, but hopefully you get the picture. Take our advice & don't rent here.
