Bad Experiences with Volx German 10/30/2008

I have had bad experiences with Volx German and will not be back. They are overpriced, tell you that you need things you don't need, and do not fess up when they make mistakes. 1) Ruined transmission because they left out the drain plug after servicing (and would not admit it), and 2) telling me I needed $800 worth of brakes when I only needed back pads. Go elsewhere. These folks are not serving your best interests. Bad news... more

Volxgerman will nickel and dime you to death 9/23/2008

they not only mark up the price for parts but also charge for 'Shop Supplies' which is an additional 6% for changing oil. just take you car to the dealership. more

I would rather go to an Audi dealership 6/15/2008

If you're going to spend on your Audi, you might as well go to Audi at Beritania because it's not worth the time. I went there to have my door chime fixed and I ended up with a $260.o bill for diagnossis. This is my first time there and I'm never going back. I went to the Audi dealership and they fixed it for $170.00. They just charge to much and will charge you cleaning fee of $18.00 for stuff they never even used., more

ok, i love my passat, but i hate that it's so expensive to service. but i guess that isn't really their fault. their hourly labor charge is still less expensive than the cutter dealership, AND i don't leave feeling like i got screwed over everytime. plus, their customer service is excellent. renee, one of their agents, is phenomenal. i love that they have female agents to help you as well, b/c i never feel like i'm getting the run around or being talked down to. on top of that, she's about as knowledgeable about cars as any guy i've ever met. so if you've gotta bite the bullet and service your vw, you might as well do it here! more
