I was looking for a place that is close to home and not crowded at the time I would most likely workout. Vision Quest met these requirements. The quantity and type of equipment wa...

Editorial review from Citysearch 6/28/2012

The most unprofessional place I have ever had an encounter with. Upon requesting a cancellation form to this gym, my friend I and were harassed by the staff where other staff, gum members and other individuals were gathered. We were first asked why it is we were cancelling (we were unhappy with crowds, noise and we are moving out of the area). Roughly 10 minuets of them hounding us about ""quitting"" they finally brought paper work where they continued to harass us about leaving (saying we were quitters, didn't like encouragement and so on). After hearing enough, my friend and I stuck to a few phrases such as ""this place sucks and so does auburn."" We were not treated with respect or profession. I would NOT recommend that anyone join the Vision Quest Auburn location due to lack of professionalism, courtesy and respect. more

Love working out here! I have the best 5/7/2012

Love working out here! I have the best trainer, Ali Crosbie who has guided me down my road to a healthy life-style! Also, I found vision quest to be the least expensive and the least intimidating. more

Great child care! 4/19/2012

Just want to say a big THANKYOU to the child center staff! My kids have so much fun with you all. I don't feel at all guilty dropping them of 4-5 days a week because I know how well they are cared for. If it were not for you guys I wouldn't have had such a fab year of fitness! more

Great Gym - Clean and Friendly 2/16/2012

Why am I being asked to submit a review for a Physician when this is a gym?? This is a FIVE start review for a gym - not a doctor! I've gone to this gym for six months and I love it. It's the first gym I've actually paid for and stuck with. The trainers are great, everything is clean and works and the front desk staff are awesome. I like the people that go there - they all seem more interested in fitness than socializing and are helpful to one another. more

This gym is good 2/8/2012

I am surprised by the recent reviews. I have been a member here for years now and never once seen much change. Staff has always been nice to me. \r \r I worked with a few trainers for my bad lower back and trust me I have never been one to ask for help but my doctor recommended it. \r \r Now that I am working out 4 days a week, my doctor has cleared me to do whatever it is that I want to do which is a relief. \r \r Its great to see the club shining from the freeway and knowing that I added years to my life by exercising. \r \r Keep up the good work Vision Quest \r \r more

Grossly Disappointed 1/27/2012

I used to love Vision Quest, Sport and Fitness. My entire family was one of the first to sign up shortly after the opening of the Auburn location. I saw Vision Quest as the welcoming and accommodating local gym that had a certain element of dignity that national-sized gyms did not offer. We were members for years. My membership ended when I left for college. I came back to Vision Quest to tour the facilities. I discussed, and repeated how I understood the prospect of the new membership with the salesperson, M. Well, a month after my membership began, my understanding was completely different from what the employees saw my membership as. When I asked the front desk employee if we could pull over the employee that had signed me up, I received the capable response, "" I'll talk to him about it later"". OK. A month later, I get a phone call from their chiropractic department informing me that I had missed an appointment. An appointment that I had said no to making repeatedly. I called the main desk immediately after and told them if I was signed up for any other appointments, to remove me at once from their list. Customer Service: I felt pushed around, and effectively ignored. Unless you are writing a check to them, Vision Quest didn't seem to care. Knowledgeable: When I asked M, what kind of protein powder they carried, he said ""The good kind"". Information about their products or nutrition was completely lacking. Knowledgeable about services: Clearly inconsistent with what the main desk understands. Cleanliness: The gym feels dirty and dusty. Environment: Instead of being the type of gym that welcomes people of all types such as elite athletes, people searching to lose mass amounts of weight, and the salt of the earth, (as M had proudly boasted) I felt that they environment was a little ' bro'. As if the sales representatives were all high school grads that giggled at the fat kid. I say this because as I was signing the documents to enter a membership, personal trainers were talking over me to M about his nerdy Harry Potter glasses. Extremely unprofessional. I will not be returning to Vision Quest. more

Am I in a minority here? 11/17/2011

I've never had a problem here that wasn't resolved quickly. The managers have been prompt in returning phone calls (not that I've made a lot, but the times I have I heard back from them within a day) and always friendly. It's a high traffic gym so I don't expect it to be SPOTLESS all the time but they definitely try which I appreciate. The gym costs 20 bucks a month, it's a great place for the money. more

WORST GYM EVER!!!! SORRY BUT TRUE.... 10/31/2011

this place has to be one of the worst places i've ever worked out at. i workout at the bothell location, The gym opens at 5:00am there never on time. I'm a early bird thats the best time for me is in the am. i often miss my workouts... 2nd the place is always cold. the tv's are NEVER on. i pay every month & they never hold up on there end.... sad that i'm moving on to gym thats warm AND open doors on time..... more

more then GREAT! 10/21/2011

Being new to the area I have finally found a gym that covers all my needs! Great selection of equipment, good variety of classes, CLEAN*, reasonable membership dues and connected to a mall. can?t really ask for much more! more

Vision Quest is absolutely amazing, their gyms are up to date and so clean. They really care about members and their results. I only pay $15/month, can't beat that!!! more

Be Careful - Deceptive Business Practices... 9/6/2011

Be careful - Vision Quest uses deceptive business practices to lock you into what they call ""no joining fees"" and ""no contracts"". When you hear that they'll add 6 months free to your contract what they are doing is locking you into maintenance fees. Try canceling your membership. That is impossible and as another mentions here, they immediately send to collections. A good question to ask is what maintenance fees are used for. You'll notice that absolutely nothing in the gym changes (dirty floors, broken lockers and showers, absolutely no new equipment). There are plenty of reputable gyms throughout Puget Sound that you should consider. One additional caution - really stay clear of their Personal Trainers. There sole goal is to ""sell"" and could care less as to your personal being. I can guarantee you'll be suckered into spending a great deal of money on supplements that are no better than what you can get at Costco. Stay clear of this place... more

Cheap and friendly 9/6/2011

Some of the negative reviews on this are quite comical. The idea that a company would actually take the time to have it's employees write positive reviews on websites is obsurd. The people at the Auburn one where I workout are always so friendly to me; not only from day one when I walked in the door but also this afternoon when I was there. The people at the desk always say hello and goodbye and answer questions. As for billing and contract issues that people have, don't you read contracts before you sign them? That just sounds like stupidity on the customers part. Compared to other gyms I've been a member at this one is by far the cheapest. Big corporations like LA Fitness and Anytime Fitness don't even care about you. They care about your money. At least Vision Quest tries to take a personal intrest. more

Horrible two faced liars 8/11/2011

If you want a personal trainer I recommend working with someone outside of your gym membership. The turn over rate here is just plain stupid. As soon as I feel like I can trust a trainer they get fired for the same reason...They actually care about their clients and don't high pressure sale them. The ones that seem like car salesman are the ones that stick around. Service my ass! My LAST trainer from here was down to earth, educated, patient and knew how to push me just enough with my injuries so that I had an awesome workout but didn't make me so sore the next few days that I loathed the idea of my next session. I see people get fired because they pursue an education and have less hours yet they reward people that go away to jail and rehab for a month because they are good at sales. This gym doesn't care about YOU. They care about how much you are willing to invest. My cousin came in on one of their 30 day passes and overheard the sales person talk about how they thought he was a free loader because he didn't sign up for a membership right away. My advise again, join a YMCA, or a place like Kent Commons and be treated like a person rather than a bank account. more

ZUMBA!!!!!! 6/13/2011

I just recently signed up at Auburn vision quest. For years I have just stuck to cardio (eliptical, tredmill, row machine etc). a girl friend of mine suggest I try ZUMBA with her at the gym...me being a shy person did not want everyone to see me dancing around like a sweaty crazy lady. I managed to give in and try it out. when I got to the gym just before the class I found out the best part...IT'S FREE!!!!! as the class progressed on I found my self having a blast and enjoying myself. the instructor was upbeat and played a great mix of music. DEFINETLY a class I would recomend to anyone who is tired of the same old cardio! more

Love Ali 6/1/2011

I have been doing Ali's bootcamp for a while now and I really want to tell everyone how great he is. Hes such a fantastic motivator that as much as i dont feel like getting up off the couch and working out after work, I do it every day because of Ali. He has inspired me so much that I can't ever tell you how great i feel and look after all my hard work. I'm so proud of myself and of him for making me push myself. Thanks Ali! more

Nice 5/27/2011

The classes are good, they have a nice selection of equiptment to use. I dont use the sauna or hot tub but they have them if i ever wanted to use them. I like that they have tanning beds. Its very convenient for me to be able to hop into a bed after i'm done working out. more

Good gym 5/24/2011

my favorite thing about this gym has to be the people. When you join you get free personal training sessions and I got put in with this guy named Ali. Not only was he just a super nice guy, he gave me a killer workout routine that I can follow when i'm on my own. The rest of the staff is all really cool and helpful too. They have a good aray of equiptment and a womens only section for people like me that want a little extra privacy. plus, despite being in the mall it really is a super convenient location. more

new cafe rocks 4/20/2011

I've been going to this gym for a long time now and its been a consistantly good experience for me. The staff is friendly the gym is clean and the classes are fun. My new favorite thing though is the new cafe. I really like the smoothies they make and its just so convenient to pick one up after my workout. And they have little stuff that I know my kids like when i bring them in with me. Overall its a really good setup. I bring my friends in to try it all the time. more

class clown 4/20/2011
