Virginia Tech Electric serves the electric customers of Blacksburg not serviced by AEP. They are located down the road from the South Main Street Kroger on Country Club Drive. In order to sign up for services, you must physically go to their office. This isn’t bad unless you are moving in from out of town because it seems like a waste of time since it only costs $12 to get services in your name. The people are nice and helpful though.
