Vinton Veterinary Hospital is very good 11/18/2009

I have taken my animals here for years and always found the people to be quite friendly and the doctors helpful and caring. Any time my animals have been to them because they were ill and they needed vaccinations, they never gave them. I just recommended them to a friend of mine. more

Best Care Ever 5/23/2008

Dr. Webster is probably one of the best vets I have ever met. He is kind and compassionate and has a very good bed-side manner with the animals. This is the only Vet my dog has "liked" going to. more

Find another vet 4/21/2008

We began taking our dogs there years ago but were not really satisfied but thought the location made it work for us. We had one serious episode with our dog and learned where not to take our dog if you want good service, price and professional staff. First off the dog was vaccinated when the dog had lost about 20% of his body weight. I have talked with several vets and they all said that they should not have done this with the dogs health. I guess it's all about money. On top of that they tried to charge 90.00 for one med. when I can get the same prescription for 18.63 at CVS. On top of that the counter lady tried to justify this $71.37 additional cost with saying they pay more. To add to this they said the chemistry work would be back in a day. They never called, never gave a reason why the test didn't come in. We had to go to the 24 hour clinic to get the chemistry work done. So they got paid for something they didn't come through with. Everyone has there opinion but mine is steer clear if you want a trustworthy vet. more

Vinton Vet 6/27/2005

Dr. Webster at Vinton Vet has been wonderful working with our English bulldog. He has had surgery on his eyes, repeated treatments for ulcers on the eyes along with other eye problems. When Dr. Webster decided that Moze needed surgery again, he did it at a very low cost since we had had it done before. They are great with all of our pets, not just the bulldog. PROS: Wonderful vets and staff, all very friendly CONS: none! more
