REALLY bad experience with these guys, unfortunately. I signed an agreement on which I negotiated an out clause. They said (in the agreement) they would cancel my current service, then came back and said they couldn't after all, at which point I said I wanted to wait until my other agreement was finished before I started with them. Then the rep began to lecture me for not being responsive enough to them, and after an unproductive conversation I said that I wasn't interested in service anymore. She said that I would have to pay a cancellation fee (for a service I never received!) and that if I didn't pay it would go to collections. She was extremely rude. I just got the invoice in the mail with the payment due date scratched out in pen and big bold ""DUE UPON RECEIPT"" written on it. What a joke. I'm sure this is a decent company but this person completely ruined my experience. Be warned! more

Hey, they do donate to fight breast cancer, but either way my experience with them was terrible to say the least. Door to door sales guy promising 1/2 off pricing for 6 months. Sat in the driveway with the guy, made him write "1/2 price for 12 months" on the contract and sure enough, got first bill and it was full price. I called them and their secretary says the sales guy writes that on everyone's contract and it doesn't mean anything (he gets paid on signed contracts).Then states that the contract tells us we have to pay full price: "customer must pay first bill in full to redeem any special offers". This does not say anything about full price. Suffice to say, after this conversation I cancelled. Now they are after me for a cancellation fee of $150.00 and have a collection company sending me letters. I never received any garbage service and had to drive their can myself to their shop because they refused to pick it up. They are cheaply priced if you can get them to honor their contract but I would never use them. more

Vintage Waste Systems, Inc. is a relatively new waste hauler serving the western suburbs of Minneapolis-St. Paul. Here's the key thing.... Every week, my garbage is gone, and the bill is lower than with many of the other companies. Do you really need to know anything else? It's a simple business, and they seem to have it down pat. more
